How do I sign up for else.where? +
Download the app from the App Store, open it, and tap Sign Up. It's free. You'll need an email address and a password. That's it.
How do I log out of the app? +
Go to the You screen (bottom right of the app). Scroll to the bottom and tap Log Out. You can log back in at any time with your email and password.
How do I delete my account? +
Go to the You screen (bottom right of the app), scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data. If you'd prefer us to handle this, email founder@elsewhere-app.com and we'll take care of it within 48 hours.
I forgot my password. What do I do? +
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Is else.where free to use? +
Yes. else.where is free to download and free to use. Sign up with your email and access everything — checklists, country guides, meditations, and the cost of living calculator.
Which countries does else.where cover? +
else.where includes guides for 40+ countries covering visa reality, banking, healthcare, housing, and culture. New guides are added regularly. If your destination isn't there yet, write to us — we prioritise based on user requests.
The app isn't working. What should I do? +
First, try closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't help, check that you have the latest version installed via the App Store. Still not working — email us at founder@elsewhere-app.com with your device model and what you were doing when it stopped working.
How do I request a new country guide? +
Email us at founder@elsewhere-app.com with the subject line "Country request — [destination]". We track every request and prioritise the most-requested destinations first.
Is my data private? +
Yes. We collect only what's necessary to run the app — your email address and the preferences you set. We do not sell your data to anyone. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Check your email address
Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with. Try any variations you might have used.

Reset your password
Tap Forgot Password on the login screen. Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Update the app
An outdated version can cause login issues. Check the App Store for updates and install the latest version.
